Barry and Stuart

Barry and Stuart consist of Scottish magicians Barry Jones and Stuart MacLeod. They are best known for their unique style of magic, which frequently combines traditional sleight of hand with dark comedy and psychological illusions. The duo has been performing together since their university days.

Barry and Stuart gained widespread prominence in the UK through their BBC television series, most notably 'Magick' and 'Dirty Tricks'. 'Dirty Tricks' aired in the mid-2000s and showcased their edgy, close-up magic. 'Magick' later pushed boundaries by blending illusions with darker, more shocking themes.

While they were massively popular on television in the 2000s, their mainstream TV appearances have become less frequent in recent years. However, they have occasionally performed live and maintained a presence in the magic community. Stuart MacLeod has also focused on creating magic for other performers.

Barry and Stuart are famous for their 'shock' magic, often blending highly disturbing or dark comedy elements into their illusions. Unlike traditional magicians, they often use gore, psychological manipulation, and chaotic humor to surprise their audiences.
