Bayonetta primarily wields four firearms simultaneously, collectively known as the Scarborough Fair. She dual-wields pistols in her hands while holding two more guns attached to the heels of her boots. This allows her to unleash a relentless stream of bullets and melee attacks at the same time.

Witch Time is a crucial combat mechanic activated by dodging an enemy attack at the absolute last possible second. When timed perfectly, the world slows down dramatically, allowing Bayonetta to unleash devastating combos while her enemies are defenseless. Mastering this dodge mechanic is essential for surviving the game's higher difficulty settings.
