Belstaff Fieldmaster Jacket

The Belstaff Fieldmaster jacket is constructed from waxed cotton, which provides excellent water resistance and durability for outdoor use. It also features a cotton lining and leather accents on the pockets and adjustable storm collar.

While the Trialmaster is a longer, belted six-pocket jacket designed for motorcycle trials, the Fieldmaster features a shorter, four-pocket silhouette. The Fieldmaster is often considered a more casual, everyday iteration of Belstaff's classic waxed jacket aesthetic.

You cannot dry clean a waxed cotton Fieldmaster; instead, you must sponge it clean with cold water and reproof it annually using wax dressing. Applying the wax evenly and heating it gently with a hairdryer ensures the cotton remains waterproof.

The standard Fieldmaster jacket is marketed primarily as a lifestyle and country-wear piece and does not come with CE-rated armor. Riders who want to use it on a motorcycle typically have to alter the jacket or choose a different model designed specifically for protective riding.
