Bibus

Bibus is an open-source bibliographic and reference management software that was popular in the early 2000s. It was designed to work with OpenOffice and Microsoft Word, providing a way to manage citations and generate bibliographies. While it was a reliable tool for its time, it has not been updated in many years and lacks the modern features, browser extensions, and cloud-syncing capabilities that are standard in today's reference managers.
