Chlopsis bicolor, commonly called the bicolor eel or bicolored false moray, is a marine eel in the family Chlopsidae. It is a demersal species recorded from the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, including waters from southern Florida and Mexico to southern Brazil and from Morocco to Mauritania. It occurs on the continental shelf and upper slope, where it can burrow into muddy bottoms.
