The Blackstone 36-inch griddle features four independently controlled burners, allowing you to create separate heat zones across the cooking surface. This is useful for simultaneously searing meat at high heat while keeping vegetables warm on a lower setting.

The Blackstone Culinary Pro 36 features a cast iron cooking surface with a porcelain enamel finish, which provides even heat distribution and easier cleaning than raw cast iron. The surface still requires proper seasoning before first use to build a non-stick patina.

The Blackstone 36-inch griddle runs on standard 20-pound propane tanks, the same type used for most backyard gas grills. Some models may also be compatible with natural gas through an optional conversion kit.

The Culinary Pro 36 with its cart stand is designed primarily for patio use rather than backcountry camping, though Blackstone does sell smaller tabletop griddle models specifically for tailgating and portability. The 36-inch version is semi-portable thanks to wheels but is heavy when fully assembled.
