Do tenants submit maintenance requests directly through Buildium?

Residents can submit and track requests through Buildium's Resident Center. Property managers can assign the work, communicate with residents and vendors, and monitor maintenance history.

Is tenant screening included in every Buildium subscription?

Screening is available through Buildium, but it can carry a separate per-screen charge. Buildium currently distinguishes standard screening from Enhanced Tenant Screening, so managers should check the fee attached to their plan.

Is Buildium designed for a landlord with only one or two rentals?

It can manage a small portfolio, but its accounting, portals, leasing tools, and recurring subscription are aimed primarily at professional managers. A small landlord may find simpler products such as TurboTenant or Avail less complex.
