Ceraunus Blue, scientifically known as Hemiargus ceraunus, is a small butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. It occurs from the southern United States, including Florida and Texas, through the Caribbean and much of Central and South America. The species inhabits open, sunny environments such as coastal areas, scrub, roadsides, and disturbed ground, where adults visit small flowers and larvae feed on legumes.
