Cors Fochno is a raised peat bog near Borth in Ceredigion, Wales, within the Dyfi estuary landscape and the Dyfi UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It forms part of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve and preserves an extensive dome of peat built from partially decomposed bog vegetation. Its waterlogged, nutrient-poor habitat supports specialized plants and animals, while drainage, peat degradation, and changing water levels make conservation management important.
