Crank (2006)

Crank is a hyper-kinetic action film where the protagonist must keep his adrenaline levels high to prevent a poison from stopping his heart. The film moves at a breakneck speed, utilizing frantic editing and absurd scenarios to maintain a constant state of urgency. It is intentionally over-the-top and leans heavily into dark comedy. While it lacks intellectual depth, it succeeds perfectly as a pure, adrenaline-fueled entertainment piece.

It is a quintessential 'intense' experience that refuses to let the viewer catch their breath for a single second.
