The Dingy Purplewing (Eunica monima) is a small tropical butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It occurs from the West Indies and Mexico through Central America and northern South America, with migrant records and small resident populations in subtropical southern Florida. Males may show a purple sheen and white forewing spots, while females are generally darker and more cryptic. In Florida, the caterpillars feed on gumbo-limbo, Bursera simaruba.
