Dowth is a Neolithic passage tomb located in the Boyne Valley of County Meath, Ireland. Dating back to approximately 3200 BC, it is one of the three principal tombs within the Brú na Bóinne complex, alongside Newgrange and Knowth. The site contains two passage tombs known as Dowth North and Dowth South, though they are less fully reconstructed than neighboring monuments. As part of the Brú na Bóinne UNESCO World Heritage Site, it serves as a significant destination for archaeologists and historians studying megalithic art and ancient European burial practices.
