The Eastern Pygmy-Blue is a small lycaenid butterfly associated with saltwater habitats along the southeastern United States coast. Its recorded range extends from southern South Carolina through Florida and west along the Gulf Coast to eastern Louisiana, while its wingspan is about 19 to 23 millimeters. Larvae feed mainly on annual glasswort and may use other salt-tolerant plants, including perennial glasswort and saltwort.
