Engineered Garments Fatigue Pant

The Fatigue Pant has a slightly relaxed, workwear-inspired silhouette based on classic military fatigue designs, so it fits roomier than typical slim or tailored pants. Engineered Garments, under designer Daiki Suzuki and the Nepenthes umbrella, intentionally cuts these with extra room through the leg for layering and movement.

They are constructed from a heavyweight canvas fabric built for long-term durability, with bar tack reinforcement at the knees and seat. This is substantially heavier and more rigid than typical cotton chinos, and the fabric softens gradually with extended wear.

Because they are made from heavyweight cotton canvas, some shrinkage can occur depending on wash temperature and drying method. Many owners recommend cold washing and hang drying to preserve both the fit and the structural integrity of the bar tack reinforcements.

While inspired by military fatigue pants, the Engineered Garments version uses a heavier canvas than typical surplus issues and includes refined construction details like bar tack stitching at stress points. Suzuki elevates the military silhouette with higher-quality fabric and a more considered fit, placing it firmly in the premium workwear category.
