Satyrodes eurydice, the Eyed Brown, is a North American butterfly in the subfamily Satyrinae. It is associated with wet meadows, marsh edges, bogs, and other habitats where sedges grow. The larvae feed primarily on sedges, while adults fly close to the ground and are identified by the conspicuous eyespots on their brown wings.
