Faction Prodigy 95

The Faction Prodigy 95 skis are generally considered best suited for intermediate to advanced skiers due to their playful, poppy nature and stiffer flex profile. They feature Faction's poplar and ash wood core, which provides stability at higher speeds. Beginners might find them slightly demanding in tight turns compared to softer, more forgiving all-mountain skis.

While wider than traditional carving skis, the 95-millimeter waist underfoot is still relatively narrow for true deep-powder skiing. They offer increased floatation in light powder compared to an 85mm ski, making them great for resorts with mixed conditions. However, on a deep, untouched 12-inch powder day, they will sink and require a wider, 105mm+ powder ski.

The Faction Prodigy 95 features a flat mounting track rather than a pre-installed plate system, meaning it is compatible with almost any traditional alpine binding on the market. Skiers commonly mount them with popular Salomon Warden or Marker Griffon bindings. The flat deck also allows telemark skiers to mount specialized 75mm bindings if desired.

In a standard 177-centimeter length, the Faction Prodigy 95 has a turn radius of around 17 meters. This relatively short radius makes the ski incredibly nimble and easy to carve quick turns on groomed runs. Combined with the twin-tip design, this makes the ski exceptionally maneuverable in tight trees and terrain parks.
