Fanny Bullock Workman (1859-1925) was an American geographer, explorer, writer, and mountaineer. In the early twentieth century she traveled through the Himalaya and Karakoram with her husband, William Hunter Workman, producing maps, travel accounts, and mountaineering reports. Her expeditions reached high elevations and were publicized as establishing several women's altitude records, connecting her work with the history of women’s exploration and professional geography.
