Fantastic Children

The white-haired children are a mysterious group known as the Befort Children, who have been spotted at different times and places in Europe for over 500 years. They always appear with the look of 11-year-olds, never grow old, and behave far more mature than they should. They possess supernatural powers and are constantly searching for a specific reincarnated soul.

Fantastic Children was animated by TMS Entertainment and consists of 26 episodes. It originally aired on Japanese television in 2004. The series is known for its distinct, somewhat retro character designs provided by original creator Takashi Nakamura.

The primary objective of the Befort Children is to find and protect the reincarnated soul of a scientist from the mythical lost continent of Greecia. They believe that if they can bring this person back to their home world, they can break the cycle of reincarnation they are trapped in. To do this, they must constantly transfer their memories into new bodies.

Fantastic Children is an original anime project created, directed, and written by Takashi Nakamura. The story was later adapted into a two-volume manga series by the same creator. The anime is much more well-known and provides the full, complete narrative of the Befort Children.
