Frederick Grinke (1911-1987) was a Canadian-born British violinist who worked as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader, and teacher. He was a member of the Kutcher String Quartet from about 1930 to 1936 and served as concertmaster of the Boyd Neel Orchestra from 1937 to 1947. Grinke later taught at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he continued teaching after retiring from the academy in 1978. His repertoire and recordings included works by Vaughan Williams and other twentieth-century composers.
