Galdhøpiggen is the highest mountain in Norway, Scandinavia, and Northern Europe, with a summit elevation of 2,469 meters above sea level. It is located in the Jotunheimen mountain range within Innlandet county. The peak features a heavily glaciated terrain and sits almost entirely on top of the Galdhøpiggen ice cap. A stone cabin was built at the summit in 1895, and the mountain attracts numerous climbers during the summer season, typically accessed from the Juvasshytta tourist lodge.
