The Gate Labs Smart Lock is a unique all-in-one device that combines a smart lock with a built-in video camera and two-way audio. It allows you to see and talk to visitors at your door directly through the lock. While the concept is innovative, the hardware is aging and the software support has become less consistent compared to modern video doorbell and smart lock combinations. It is an interesting piece of tech, but it has largely been superseded by better, more reliable standalone video doorbells paired with dedicated smart locks.
