description Generation X Overview
Generation X is a 1996 American television pilot based on Marvel Comics' X-Men spin-off about a group of young mutants. It aired on Fox as a television film after plans for a continuing series did not proceed, and was directed by Jack Sholder. The story centers on students at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, led by Banshee and Emma Frost, played by Jeremy Ratchford and Finola Hughes; the student group includes Jubilee, Skin, Mondo, and M. It predates the 2000 X-Men feature film and is an early live-action adaptation of X-Men-related characters.
