Man-Thing

description Man-Thing Overview

"Man-Thing" is a 2005 horror film based on the Marvel Comics character created by Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway, and Gray Morrow. Directed by Brett Leonard and shot in Australia, it centers on a swamp creature, born of a botched experiment, that is drawn to human fear—a trait reflected in the comics' tagline that whatever knows fear burns at the Man-Thing's touch. Originally planned for U.S. theaters by Marvel and Lions Gate, it premiered instead on the Sci Fi Channel in 2005.
