Ghosts is a British television sitcom that premiered on BBC One in 2019, created by the comedy group behind the CBBC series Horrible Histories. The show follows Alison Cooper, who inherits a country estate called Button House only to discover it's inhabited by ghosts from various historical periods. Each ghost represents a different era, from a caveman to a World War II officer, all visible only to Alison after she experiences a near-death accident. The series combines supernatural elements with historical humor and was adapted for American television by CBS in 2021.
