GolfBuddy Aim W12

GolfBuddy advertises more than 40,000 preloaded courses worldwide for the Aim W12, covering most courses you would encounter while traveling. Courses are updated free of charge through GolfBuddy's computer software rather than a paid subscription.

Distance-measuring devices are permitted in competition when a committee adopts the relevant local rule under the Rules of Golf, as most clubs now do. The Aim W12's core functions deliver distances only, which keeps it within what's allowed; disable any advanced assistance features if in doubt and check with the committee.

Expect roughly 10 hours of continuous GPS use, which comfortably covers 36 holes in a day. In plain watch mode without GPS running, it lasts far longer between charges.
