Google Glass Explorer Edition was a wearable computer introduced through Google's Glass Explorer program in 2013 ([Google's Glass history](https://x.company/projects/glass/)). It placed a small display in the user's field of view, included a camera and microphone, and provided hands-free access to search, photographs, video, messages and directions through a touchpad and voice commands.
