The Gray-chinned Hermit (Phaethornis griseogularis) is a small species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It occurs in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, and marginally northern Brazil, using dense growth such as cloud-forest understory, secondary forest, and forest edges. The species is part of the hermit hummingbird group, whose members are associated with forest habitats in the Neotropics.
