How many islands does Greece have?

Do I need to book Acropolis tickets in advance?

Yes, especially in summer, since timed-entry slots for the Athens site sell out and queues can be hours long without a pre-purchased ticket. The Parthenon atop the Acropolis was built in the 5th century BC under Pericles and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
