His Trysting Place

description His Trysting Place Overview

His Trysting Place is a 1914 American two-reel comedy made for the Keystone Film Company, written and directed by Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin plays a husband whose overcoat is accidentally exchanged with that of Ambrose, played by Mack Swain; a love letter and a baby bottle in the wrong pockets lead both wives, including Mabel Normand's character, to suspect their husbands. The film is a compact example of Chaplin's early domestic farce.
