Inazuman is a 1973 tokusatsu television series created by manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei. The show follows Goro Kai, a mutant with psychic powers who transforms into the armored cocoon-like Sanagiman before evolving into the butterfly-themed superhero Inazuman. He battles the neo-human empire comprised of mutated monsters. The series ran for 26 episodes and was directly followed by the sequel series Inazuman Flash later that same year.
