description Indarch Overview

Indarch is an EH4 enstatite chondrite that fell near Shusha in present-day Azerbaijan in 1891. Its highly reduced mineral assemblage includes abundant enstatite, iron-nickel metal, and sulfide minerals, with little iron bound into silicates. Researchers study Indarch to investigate the formation of enstatite chondrites and the oxygen-poor conditions that existed in parts of the early Solar System.
