Built by Space Systems Loral (Maxar Technologies), it is positioned at 62 degrees east longitude, replacing Intelsat 904. The satellite provides C-band and Ku-band connectivity services to enterprise, government, and media customers across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including broadband and mobile connectivity.
