Jerry Goldstone

Goldstone studied at the University of Washington and earned his medical degree at the University of Oregon Medical School. He completed surgical training at UCSF and a fellowship at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, now Brigham and Women's Hospital.

He held senior vascular surgery roles at UCSF, the University of Arizona, and University Hospitals of Cleveland. At Case Western Reserve University, he served as division chief from 1999 to 2008 and again as interim chief in 2010.

His work covered aortic disease, peripheral vascular surgery, and the education of vascular surgeons. He also contributed to professional guidance on aortic and peripheral arterial interventions.

A Western Vascular Society biography credits him with more than 260 scientific publications and book chapters, along with four texts. It also records his mentorship of 51 clinical fellows and 12 research fellows.
