The 43 refers to the sponge hardness in degrees, making it one of the softer rubbers in the Rhyzer line. This medium-soft sponge provides excellent dwell time, allowing players to generate heavy spin on their loops.

The Rhyzer 43 offers more control and a higher throw angle than the stiffer Rhyzer 48. While the 48 is built for sheer speed and power, the 43 is much easier to handle in the short game and close to the table.
