Khermen Tsav is a remote region of cliffs, ravines, and heavily eroded sedimentary formations in the southwestern Gobi Desert of Mongolia. Its exposed Late Cretaceous rocks have yielded dinosaur and other vertebrate fossils, giving the area paleontological importance alongside its striking desert scenery. It is mainly visited by researchers and organized desert travelers because reaching it requires long overland journeys through sparsely inhabited terrain.
