How do you know when a Laser Maze challenge is solved?

The laser must travel through the arranged mirrors and other tokens until it illuminates the target specified by the challenge card. A correct setup may also require particular pieces to occupy fixed positions shown on that card.

What do the beam splitter and mirror tokens do?

Mirrors turn the laser beam by reflecting it across the grid. A beam splitter sends light along more than one path, allowing a challenge to involve multiple directions or targets.

Does ThinkFun's Laser Maze require two players?

Laser Maze is designed primarily as a single-player logic game rather than a head-to-head board game. The original set contains 60 challenge cards that progress from beginner to expert.

How is Laser Maze different from ThinkFun's Gravity Maze?

Laser Maze routes a real light beam with mirrors, splitters, and blockers. Gravity Maze instead uses towers to build a path that carries a marble from its starting point to a target.
