Inspired by the original Dota, League of Legends takes the same 5v5 base attack concept, but introduces a completely different roster of playable characters that is constantly being expanded. Many players find League of Legends is easier and more accessible than Dota, but it is still extremely nuanced; it has one of the highest skill ceilings in gaming, and the best players are considered tactical geniuses.
It's a great game, actually the best game I've ever played. This game reveals the crybaby side of people and then they post comments about it being bad or riot being a bad company. This has not been my experience at all playing this game for 3+ years. Though the balance team does questionable stuff sometimes, Riot has been a great company. I've spent 1k+ Usd with no regrets. Highly recommended
League really has its moments when it is fun....but when it comes to a ranked situation....you can kiss your fun times goodbye. All it takes is ONE person to disconnect to throw an entire match that you were probably about to win. Then you'll get bad mouthed for trying to get gold and items by farming and then you'll get ganked and die 5 times. There is literally no way for this game to be fun at that point, even in a normal match.
The great things about online games are that it really doesn't matter where you are to play them. However, every country has their own policies which makes this well difficult. As riot had become absorbed they have spent less efforts for customer satisfaction for gamers that frequent moving around.
It's really fun. I have never known this game, I've just recently been introduced to it. Ever since my dad played it, me and my brother couldn't help but watch in awe. My dad offered to download it on our PC's, and now we barely play ROBLOX anymore. It is complicated to know how to play it, though. Before on my first day in the tutorial, I couldn't seem to pass because the turret kept attacking me. I realized you will only be safe if minions are with you. It's hard at first, but it's a game that helps people be determined.
I have played this game for about 4 years now, and I have still not gotten tired of it. Every game is different and refreshing because there are so many mixed interactions and there are so many characters to play as it almost never gets boring. Most importantly it feels good investing time into the game and into certain characters because you legitimately get better at the game.
Since I've started playing, I've slowly seen the things I once loved stripped away from me. The old map and old client with their distinctly runic and unique aesthetic, the old intense champ select music, ranked teams, old VFX that had a cartoonish charm to them instead of modern visuals that are just trying way too hard to look "modern" and "good", my favorite champions turned into completely different champions with reworks, my favorite items being deleted. The only thing keeping this game "alive" is the esports scene and the cash cows who will buy any anime skin.
This game is addictive! If you want to waste years of your life playing a game that is slowly getting worse season by season because Riot keep implimenting new champs with new mechanics into the game faster than they can fix their own old bugs. Then this is the game for you!!
THIS GAME DOES REQUIRE LOTS OF HARD WORK AND SKILL TO GET GOOD AT. There is no getting around that. plus you also have to manage your time well being that every league of legends game on average takes about 30 minutes.
I really enjoy this game! Originally, I had it downloaded on my cellphone, loved playing it for many hours. Now that I have it on my laptop, I fell for the game even more! If you have the ability to wait to join a match, and the patience to put up with ignorant, impatient, immature, and downright rude players, you will have a grand time playing.
Game is too focused on ranked play, not new player friendly, lots of characters to choose from but a lot of them fall short of playable in today's matches. gotta do a lot of research just to enjoy the game normally.
totally worth playing. it takes some skill and you cant just jump into player vs player and dominate, you have to start slow against bots and get better/work your way up. but once you are good then you pretty much dominate every game and bring you alot of joy. really fun game, totally worth playing.
