Lode Mill

description Lode Mill Overview

Lode Mill is a restored water-powered flour mill beside Bottisham Lode near Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire, England. The present structure dates largely from the eighteenth century and occupies a site where milling had taken place for centuries. Managed by the National Trust as part of the Anglesey Abbey estate, it preserves working machinery and demonstrates how flowing water powered the grinding of grain into flour.
