description Longmoor Camp Overview
Longmoor Camp is an active British Army camp and training area in Hampshire, near Longmoor, Liss and Liphook. Its best-known historical feature was the Longmoor Military Railway, a Royal Engineers training line used to teach railway construction and operation before closing in 1969. The surrounding estate includes woodland, heath, wetlands and hard standings, and remains part of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation's military training estate.
