Lychas tricarinatus is a scorpion in the family Buthidae, described by Simon in 1884 and currently recorded from India. Indian surveys have reported it from Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, including sites in or near Bannerghatta National Park. The species has also been placed in the subgenus Endotrichus, and some checklists use the combination Janalychas tricarinatus.
