description MechCommander Overview
MechCommander is a 1998 real-time tactics game developed by FASA Interactive and set in the BattleTech universe. Players direct a unit of BattleMechs and support vehicles from an overhead perspective, selecting pilots, equipment, and machines between missions while managing limited resources. Unlike a conventional base-building strategy game, it centers on tactical positioning, salvage, repair, and the capabilities of individual units during a campaign against Clan Smoke Jaguar.
