The Menin Gate Memorial to the Missing is a monumental arch in Ypres, Belgium, designed by British architect Reginald Blomfield and inaugurated in 1927. The Last Post ceremony has been performed beneath the arch since 1928, apart from the period of German occupation during the Second World War.
