Mera Peak is a mountain in the Hinku Valley region of eastern Nepal, standing at approximately 6,476 meters (21,247 feet). It is classified as a trekking peak under Nepal's permit system and is among the highest peaks in this category. The standard ascent route is non-technical but involves glacier travel at altitude. The peak was first climbed in 1953 by Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing.
