Why use Mocha Pro instead of a point tracker in After Effects?
Mocha Pro tracks the movement of planar regions such as screens, signs, walls and faces rather than relying only on individual feature points. That approach can remain stable when part of a surface is blurred, briefly obscured or moving outside the frame.
What does Mocha Pro's PowerMesh feature do?
PowerMesh tracks deformation across a surface instead of treating it as a perfectly rigid plane. It is useful for attaching graphics to moving skin, fabric and other flexible objects.
Can Mocha Pro remove objects from a shot?
Its Remove Module can build replacement imagery from neighboring frames after the unwanted object and background plane have been tracked. Results depend on having enough clean background information, so complex occlusion or changing lighting can require additional compositing.
