Neriene peltata is a spider species in the family Linyphiidae, described by Wider in 1834. It is widespread in much of Britain and occurs across northwestern and central Europe; the World Spider Catalog also records it from Greenland, the Caucasus, European Russia through southern Siberia, and Iran. The species lives in woodland, scrub, hedgerows, low vegetation, and bushes, often higher in the vegetation than other common Neriene species.
