Ohrigstad Mountain Bushveld

It is a savanna vegetation type associated with rocky, mountainous terrain around Ohrigstad in South Africa's Limpopo province. In the South African National Biodiversity Institute's national Vegetation Map it carries the standardized code SVcb 26.

It occurs in the Ohrigstad area of eastern Limpopo, near the border with Mpumalanga on the escarpment route toward sights like the Blyde River Canyon. The Ohrigstad Dam area is one practical landmark in the region.

It is the standardized identifier from SANBI's Vegetation Map of South Africa, used by ecologists and conservation planners. The SV prefix places the unit within the savanna biome classification.

Only portions fall within formally protected areas, which is typical for South African bushveld types outside major reserves. Much of it occurs on farmland and grazing land, which is why the SANBI mapping matters for land-use planning.
