The Olivaceous Piculet (Picumnus olivaceus) is a small New World woodpecker in the family Picidae. Its range extends from Guatemala through parts of Central America and northern South America to Peru, and it uses forest edges, secondary forest, open woodland, plantations, and gardens as well as other wooded habitats. Lafresnaye formally described the species in 1845; it is generally resident throughout its range and is assessed as Least Concern.
