Anisota senatoria, commonly called the orange-striped or orange-tipped oakworm moth, is a saturniid moth native to eastern North America. James Edward Smith described the species in 1797. Its caterpillars feed mainly on oaks and develop black bodies with orange longitudinal stripes; populations can become large enough to defoliate oak trees, although the species is part of the ecology of deciduous forests.
