Orthochirus scrobiculosus is a scorpion species in the family Buthidae, a diverse group of mostly small to medium-sized scorpions. It was described by the German zoologist Adolf Grube in 1873 and is associated with parts of Central Asia and adjacent regions. Like other buthid scorpions, it has a venom apparatus and is adapted to terrestrial environments, but species-level information about its behavior and medical importance is limited.
