Paul Longley is a British geographer whose research concerns geographic information science, geodemographics, urban analysis, and the spatial organization of populations. He has contributed to methods for studying cities and consumer populations through geographically referenced data. Longley is also a co-author of Geographic Information Systems and Science, a textbook that introduces the concepts, technologies, analytical methods, and practical applications of GIS.
